Get your company documents legalised
Non-UK residents who set up a limited company in the UK are often required to have certain company incorporation documents legalised to verify their authenticity for use abroad. An Apostille Certificate must be obtained and attached to the relevant company document to state that it is authentic and can be used in another country.
This official authentication is provided by a Notary who certifies the document. An Apostille Certificate is then attached to the verified document by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). This process ensures the documents will be accepted in all countries party to the 1961 Hague Convention.
It is often necessary to attach an Apostille Certificate to your company documents when opening a business bank account or opening a new branch of your business in a foreign country.
Our Apostille service can be used to legalise a range of company documents, including the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum & Articles of Association, IN01 Form from Companies House and Certificate of Good Standing. If required, additional documents can be Apostilled on request.
