  3. The business bank account offers are only available to companies with UK resident directors and shareholders. Companies with overseas directors and shareholders are not eligible for this offer. If your company has overseas directors or shareholders, a business bank account referral to WorldFirst is included in our Non-Residents and eSeller Packages. Account openings for all banking referrals are subject to approval.

Why should I buy the Professional Package?

It has been carefully assembled to offer excellent value for those wishing to protect the privacy of their home address and also enjoy a wide range of services.

What addresses are placed on the public record?

To set up a limited company, you require a registered office, which is the official address of the company; and a service address which is the official address of a director, and person with significant control (e.g. a shareholder who owns more than 25% of the company's shares).

Registered office and service address details are displayed on public record.

Registered office address details should also be displayed on all company stationery and websites.

Do I need to register for VAT?

If the turnover of your company is expected to exceed £90,000 in the next 12 months, it is a legal requirement to register your company for VAT.

You may choose to register for VAT voluntarily if your turnover is not expected to exceed the £90,000 threshold.

Some companies register voluntarily to claim back VAT paid on equipment and expenses, and also to boost the corporate image of their company.

Opt for our Prestige Package which includes VAT registration should you require this.

What is the confirmation statement?

The confirmation statement is a document that must be filed annually, providing Companies House with up-to-date information about your company. This package includes the preparation and filing of your first confirmation statement.

Please note: This service does not include the Companies House filing fee of £34.00. At the time of filing your first confirmation statement, we will take payment of £34.00 using your payment card details securely stored in your account.

This service is renewable annually at the cost of £59.99 +VAT.

Are there any extra or hidden costs?

There are no extra or hidden fees in this package. The price quoted is exactly the price you will pay.

If you wish to renew the registered office and the service address included in this package after the initial 12 month period, you will be charged at exactly the same price as you would today.

There will be no increase in prices for future renewal of services either.

Do I need to supply proof of ID?

All company formation agents, including ourselves, have a legal requirement to check Proof of ID and Address.

Do not worry - over 90% of our customers successfully pass our digital ID checks, without having to do anything.

If you aren’t eligible for a digital ID check, or your digital ID check fails, don’t worry - 99% of customers are able to provide their ID via our Credas App using their smartphone. See here for more information.

How do I open a business bank account?

During the company formation order process, you will be asked to select a business bank account referral from up to 7 of our banking partners, including Barclays, NatWest, Monzo, Tide and HSBC.

Once Companies House has accepted your company application, your chosen bank will contact you directly so you can open your business bank account.

All business bank accounts are subject to approval.

Is the Professional Package renewable?

Yes. The Registered Office, Service Address and Confirmation Statement Services are renewable annually at £39.00, £26.00 and £59.99. The Business Address will renew monthly at £6.99.
