  2. The business bank account offers are only available to companies with UK resident directors and shareholders. Businesses with overseas directors and shareholders are not eligible for this offer. We have partnered with business account providers to offer a banking referral for non-UK residents You will get the option to add their referral during the order process. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the only package available for forming a company on behalf of my client?

Yes, if you are forming a limited by shares company.

Why are other packages no longer offered to accountants and intermediaries?

In accordance with current Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation and regulatory guidance, we are no longer able to operate under reliance arrangements with intermediaries. As a result, our other limited by shares packages are no longer commercially viable.

What documents will be provided to my client after their company has been formed?

Once the company has been successfully formed, you will receive non-branded copies of the following documents by email:

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum of Association
  • Articles of Association
  • Share Certificates
  • Statutory Registers with initial entries completed

We will also provide you with a copy of the authentication code.

Are my clients required to provide ID?

We are legally obligated under Anti-Money Laundering regulations to confirm the identities of all customers, company directors, and persons with significant control (PSCs) involved in the formation process.

Will you contact my clients directly?

If you indicate on the application form that you are part of a regulated body, we will not contact your clients directly. Instead, we will communicate exclusively with you. You will receive personalised, non-branded ID verification links for each director and person with significant control (PSC), which you can forward to your clients. Please note that each individual must complete their own identity verification.

If you do not select this option, we will notify each officer directly that they have been appointed to the company. However, the ID verification links will still be sent to you for distribution.

Can I use your address for my client’s registered office and service address?

Absolutely. While the Wholesale Package does not include address services, you can easily add Registered Office and Service Address services during the checkout process if your client wishes to use our address.

What are non-branded company documents?

Non-branded documents are free from any 1st Formations branding or address details, making them ideal for resale or presentation under your own brand.
