The buck stops with you. As a company director, you hold the ultimately responsibility for ensuring your company complies with its legal obligations. So, don't leave your compliance to chance. Engage with trusted advisors, seek professional advice, and learn as much you can to put your company in the best possible position.

What's your top tip for businesses that want to stay compliant?

Carry out regular compliance reviews to help identify and correct issues. Using a proactive approach helps reduce the risk of issues escalating and becoming more damaging. If you let your compliance strategy become reactive, you can find yourself in a constant state of firefighting, with issues building up and compounding to hurt your company more.
